A lot of westernisation and external influences have impacted our lifestyle, values and tradition but even then people here have not completely forgotten their roots and values. And this is the same case with fashion too. Yes, we have got a number of external influences here too. There are a number of international designers or even Indian counterparts who are trying to bring all blingy and sparkly stuff to your wardrobe. But even then there is something unconditionally classy and fashionable about our yesteryear Indian wear. And what tops the list in this regard is HANDLOOMS.Screen Shot 2016-08-05 at 11.12.28 pm

The lady owns a Non-Profit organisation which is targeted to build a connection between the weavers and the weaver lovers. She is aiming to bring handlooms into the mainstream market so that the poor weavers could have a god profit margin.

Commercialising the handloom love
Now, this is the apt time when you realise the importance of brand ambassadors. When you are aiming to commercialise or bring something in masses eyes then you need to hold the hand of a celebrity. But in this case, a celebrity volunteered. Yes, I am talking about none other than our anchor powerhouse Mini Mathur. She is a die-hard lover of handloom sarees. And do you know what she plays and mixes up her saree with really gorgeous blouses. as she said in an event “ My sarees have a shocking blouse factor”. She pairs some of the most quirkiest blouses with her sarees. Recently she launched 15 lines of her own design in the store of Anavila and we have heard that all the big names are already eying them.Screen Shot 2016-08-05 at 11.11.20 pm

Anavila Mishra is one of the most regular names in fashion circuit at present. She is young but of course she is sparky and she knows how to make her love her passion.
