Move over typical dessert option it’s time we introduce strawberry doughnut sandwich in our kitchen. We can have this anytime of the day without any guilt, after all, it’s weekend. The best part of the recipe is we just have to do the filling prep 😉 😉 Thanks to our lovely cupcake girls for bringing this recipe to us. Doughnuts, any kind you desire available nearby doughnut shop
Strawberries, cut into slices
For the whipped cream
1 cup heavy cream, chilled
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Put cream, sugar and extract in the bowl of stand mixer and mix on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
*Note-You can put your mixing bowl in the fridge beforehand to chill it, which will make your whipped cream stiffen faster, but using a room temperature bowl works also. (Just takes a few minutes longer)
Cut the doughnuts in half horizontally.
Spoon some whipped cream on one of the doughnut halves.
Top with sliced strawberries
Place other doughnut half on top
