To avoid inviting these unfortunate problems you need to follow some home remedies that are simple but effective.

What to eat to bring your pressure down to normal

1) Increase the intake of foods rich in vitamin C like citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables, strawberries etc., 2) Magnesium-rich foods like soya beans, broccoli, beans, tomatoes, wheat germ, tofu, squash, etc., 3) Foods rich in calcium like yogurt, milk, cheese, butter, salmon, broccoli, leafy vegetables, etc., 4) Potassium rich foods like grapefruits, asparagus, tomatoes, grapes, corn, apricots, dates, cucumbers, etc. 5) Have 3-5 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily. It is known to have brought down blood pressure.

What to avoid

1) Avoid cooking with too much common salt. 2) Avoid commercial salad dressings, commercial sauces. 3) Avoid smoking and limit your alcohol intake.
Activities: Physical activities and exercises are a must. Keeping the weight under control reduces the risks of hypertension affecting the body.

Women should remember that they are the only people who know what’s best for your families. Their hypertension will not bring any benefit to their families.
