Style Check : Nargis Fakhri

While Ranbir Kapoor walked away with all the awards and accolades for his performance in Rockstar, what also become a talking point was debutante Nargis Fakhri’s performance. The leggy lass, who stood tall, quite literally, in all the frames along with the kapoor boy, was quite a stunner. This New York-born glamorous fashion model, whose sexy pout you just can not miss, created quite a buzz then, and is gearing up to set the screen ablaze in her upcoming movie Madras Cafe. Though there has been a considerable gap between her two releases, she was constantly in news for her fashionista avtaars, ramp walks and fashion statements. We decode her fashion mantra just for you.

Fashion funda

She is comfortable wearing both western and Indian dresses. She was seen in a glittery Kamal Sood gown when she walked the red carpet for TOIFA. She was seen wearing an orange sleeveless anarkali salwar kameez and churidar at a film premier. She teamed it up with a black sleeveless jacket, with embroidery work of golden flowers on it. Nargis advices her fans to wear light cotton clothes during monsoons.

The skin she’s in

Nargis’s glowing skin is the best part of her appearance. She likes taking care of her skin with light skin care products that enable her skin to breathe. For Nargis, cleansing and moisturizing is a must during monsoons. She prefers organic ingredients-based moisturisers for her skin. Drinking plenty of water is a must for Nargis as it keeps the skin clean.

Treatment for the tresses

Nargis loves her tresses and gives away the secret behind her cascading mass of hair. She opts for a hot oil conditioning treatment with a coconut-based hair oil. This treatment lasts for 20 minutes. During monsoons, Nargis says, it is important to keep the hair scalp dry. Wet hair and scalp can lead to hair fall.

Face for brands

Look at her and you stand still to take a second good look. Yes, ‘brand’ Nargis will be a face of many brands. She is a brand ambassador for Van Heusen. She is also going to be the face for the private sales club and, which houses designer wear, watches, apparels, footwear, jewellery and many other items.
