After a slew of backlash from celebrities to The Cut’s offensive article on Priyanka Chopra, the actress herself responded on the infuriating insinuations made by the magazine.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been the talk of the town ever since the two tied the knot in a grand wedding that took place at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The wedding received love from the millions of fans all over the world, with their wedding pictures trending on every social media platform. However, it seems the wedding didn’t go down well with a few people. Recently, a New York magazine called ‘The Cut’ accused Priyanka Chopra of tricking Nick Jonas into a fraudulent relationship, calling her a modern-day scam artist. The article was taken down by the magazine shortly after the backlash.
With a slew of other racist and sexist allegations made in the articles, the journalist who wrote it even stooped so down to advice Nick in the article, “Nick, if you’re reading this, find that horse and gallop away as fast as you can!” “. The magazine took down the article after the backlash and widespread criticism it received from the celebrities and fans alike.
Priyanka Chopra has now responded to the article saying she doesn’t want to react to such ‘random things’. She spoke to Hindustan Times and said “I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can’t disturb it.”
About the “vile, negative” story about her on @TheCut, @priyankachopra : I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kind of random things can’t disturb it”

The magazine even put up a note on the article’s page which said,”Last night, the Cut published a post about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s relationship that shouldn’t have gone up. We’ve received dozens of messages from readers expressing their anger. We want you to know that we hear you and we’re sorry. The whole piece missed the mark. There is no good explanation for this other than human error and poor judgement. This was a mistake, and we apologize to our readers and to Priyanka and Nick.”
