About his moment to raise a toast to the newlyweds, Joe told, “I kinda blacked out for a minute. I was just overwhelmed with emotion. This is my brother, my best friend and to see him marrying his dream girl … there was a lot of tears the whole weekend — and a lot of smiles. I had (the toast) on paper, so that was the most important part.”
Revealing details about the sangeet ceremony performances, Joe admitted us that it was Priyanka and her family who won the fierce sangeet competition saying that Priyanka’s family has incredible performers on stage.
Joe added, “The sangeet’s a beautiful Indian tradition a few days before the wedding where you put on a performance, and they have the most incredible performers in her family. They have a lot of friends and family who are Bollywood stars.”

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends…#grateful @nickjonas 📹/📷: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik
