Last year, in October, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their fans overwhelm with joy when they announced their wedding dates. They had been dating for years by then and marriage was surely on cards. The couple married in a dreamy ceremony in Italy’s Lake Como, amid family and close friends. After coming back to India, the newlyweds hosted three receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
When the couple came back to India, the very first time as a married couple, the paparazzi was all over the Mumbai airport to take their pictures. Even the fans and well-wishers came in huge numbers to see them.
In a recent interview to GQ magazine, Ranveer opened up on how he felt about the paparazzi and media frenzy around his wedding.
He said, “It was… Too much. We worked hard not to feed this focus on personal lives. But it’s definitely much easier now that we’re married.”
When asked about how he has changed after marriage, he added, “I’ve become a family man, a proper homebody.”
On the professional front, Ranveer is busy promoting his movie ‘Gully Boy’ which is slated to release on February 14.
He is also scheduled to start shooting for Kabir Khan’s ’83 which are a biopic on cricketer Kapil Dev’s life.
