Homemade Face Packs for this Winter

Winter brings along with it many skin related issues like dehydration of skin, dryness, itching and cracked skin. But no worries. You can tackle these issues sitting at home! The easiest thing to do is to prepare home-made face packs. They are very good moisturisers and can be easily prepared using stuff available in your kitchen. And what’s more, these cost next to nothing. Here are some easy face pack recipes for this winter.

1.Tomato and lime

In a medium bowl mix the puree of one tomato and 1 tsp lemon juice, mix well. Apply this mask on your face. Leave the pack on for 15 minutes. Remove the pack and face wash with cold water. It helps to tighten your pores and gives fair glow.

2. Almond oil and creamy milk face pack

Mix a spoon of pure almond oil with 2 spoons of cream or milk. Apply the mixture gently on your face and leave the pack on for 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Almond oil helps to keep your skin moist and soft. It is the best face pack during winter when you feel your skin is dry and dehydrated.

3. Banana face pack

Mix a spoon of mashed banana with milk powder and 2 drops of honey. Apply the mask thoroughly. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then face wash with normal water. Banana is well known for its moisturizing properties and sticky texture. It will make your skin soft and moist.

4. Curd and honey face pack

Mix 3 tsp of curd with 1 tsp honey. Apply the mask on face. Dried it for 15 minutes. Wash the face with lukewarm water. It will smooth and moist your dry skin.

5. Papaya and oatmeal pack

In a medium size bowl mix 2 tsp papaya puree and 1 tsp oatmeal mix it well. Now add few drops of lemon juice and ½ tsp honey. Whisk the mixture properly. Apply the mixture on your face and neck, leave it for 20 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water. It will make your skin fair and lovely.
