The one thing that is famous in Delhi during the festival of lights ‘Diwali’, more than the festival itself, is the pollution level in the city. Currently, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra are busy shooting for their new film ‘The Sky Is Pink’ in the capital, and it looks like pollution has been extremely unbiased towards the two most famous B town celebrities.
What He Did
Recently, Farhan took to Instagram to post a picture of him and Priyanka wearing masks to battle the city’s pollution. Farhan put up a smart yet humorously placed caption, which read – “Masking our emotions in the Delhi air. Priyanka Chopra, your pose is just…” he wrote, ending the caption with a tick mark emoji.” He even used a tick sign at the end of the caption just to appreciate Priyanka’s swagger pose.

What She Did
What followed was a comment by none other than our very own piggy chops on Farhan’s post. Priyanka commented – “Arre Delhi.. what has happened to you?”
She later on went to upload another picture on Instagram. This time it was just her basking sun. “The sun and I.. Delhi here we go,” she wrote under it.

Like every year, the pollution levels in the capital increased by a very hefty margin compared to last year. A day after Diwali, the air quality also started falling considerably low. Delhi’s air quality deteriorated to ‘severe-plus’ or ‘emergency’ level due to fireworks and weather conditions like wind speed and dipping mercury, leading to lower dispersion rate of pollutants.
Talking about the film, ‘The Sky is Pink’ is going to be directed by Shonali Bose. It is going to be based on a true story. Apart from Delhi, the movie will also be shot is Mumbai, London and the Amsterdam. Producers Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Ronnie Screwvala will be putting their money on stake for the film.
