It is time to upgrade your wardrobe again because winter is here to stay. Time to go and shop something new and breaking the fashion codes for the Fall 2013. Helping to get this winter warm and trendy, WSL brings the new colour codes for you.
The winter colours of greys, blacks, blues and all the dark hues are barred by the fashion cops this year. Bring on the girly pinks to your bags, shoes, and coats and colour the beautiful winter. Phoebe Philo brings in her collection Pastel pink, baby pink, on coats, blazers, and carven. While Karl Lagerfeld and Prada gets the pink from head to toe with accessories. All the hues between orange and red with dash of pink are warm and peppy welcome to the colour code number one.
The hues of caramel and camel shades, despite being restricted to the office look, one can play around with dash of hues stolen from the pastel colours. The softer shades brighten the harsh winter blues. At the shelf, Donna Karen and Derek Lam tops at creamiest camel colour trench coat, but this year Hermes and Rachel Zoe introduces seductive suede and leather works steals the show as well.
Moss It Out
When military green, moss tree green or deep lichen green were about to be dispelled from the fashion arcade, Pantone predicted it to be the year of deep sets of green. Calvin Klein, Celine, and Philip Lim brought in the spin with sculpted coats.
Waving away the winter blues, sapphire and cobalt blues are the new shades to be more prominent this season. Navy coat by Miu Miu or peekaboo lace by Elie Saab and Valentino and Milly hit the NYC streets. The inky shades of blue and flattering cobalt blue steps out at the forefront for making a bold statement at day and evening outings. The new blues seems to be the new black, who cannot do without the colour black during this season. The seductiveness of blue is softly played against the cold winds of winter blues and blacks.
