Bake & make holidays fun!

As the year comes to an end, all of us tend to enjoy to the fullest thanks to Christmas and new year. Kids end up having maximum blast as most of them have their winter holidays now.

Let them have fun, but also make sure they learn something new and productive in this break. Encourage them to take up some activity or just involve them in your daily routine. I have tried that and trust me, it’s fun.

For instance, my daughter and her friend want to become chefs and so on Christmas they ended up making chocolate chip cookies for their best friend Santa! It wasn’t a tough task, but if you let kids take up charge, they feel responsible. Here’s how we went about it

The ingredients:

1.Two cups of flour

2.Half spoon of baking powder and salt

3.One-tablespoon vanilla extract

4.One-cup white and brown sugar

5.Two eggs

6.One-cup butter unsalted and room temperature.

7. And lots of chocolate chips

Take all the ingredients and mix well. Take a baking tray and put butter at the bottom. Don’t forget to pre-heat oven at 325 F. Then take the mix and put it in the tray with the help of a spoon. Bake the chocolate balls in the oven for 20 min.

It not only tasted well, but kids loved it when they were allowed in the kitchen!
