The leading lady of Bollywood was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2012. That was when she fell unconscious and later on when she was admitted to the city hospital then she was told that she is suffering from Ovarian cancer. She later went to New York and there she battled with cancer and now she is a successful cancer survivor.
3. Lisa Ray
This model turned actor was also diagnosed with cancer in the year 2009. She was suffering from multiple myeloma which is a complex cancer type. But she decided to stay mum about it and fought the deadly disease on her own. But the prayers of her family members brought her out of it and now she is completely enjoying her life.
He was diagnosed with one of the most advanced stages of cancer and doctors gave him just two months to live. He was diagnosed when Emraan Hashmi starrer “Tumsa Nahi Dekha” was released. But the director battled with cancer bravely and today he emerged out as a winner.
Very few people know that legendary actress Mumtaz is also a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with a lump in her breast in the early 2000s. She took chemo sessions and at the age of 54, she came out of it.

This Kite actress is also a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with cancer in her early stages and thus she recovered from it much before the shoot of the movie began. During the shoot of the movie, she bonded big time with Anurag Basu who is another cancer survivor.

After the 2011 World Cup, all the cricket fans went crazy when they came to know that Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with the cancerous tumor in his left lung. But after constant chemotherapy sessions, he went ahead and came back fully recovered in April 2012. Later on he went ahead and wrote a book also about his journey and battle with cancer.

Irfan Khan is also suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour which is some sort of complex cancer. The Hindi Medium actor is currently in the UK battling with cancer and as per his wife, he is facing cancer like a true warrior.

Lance Armstrong featured in the list of 100 fittest men of all times and became one of the icons for cancer survivors all over the world. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in October 1996 and it has already spread to vital areas of his body. he immediately began chemotherapy and by Feb 1997 he was declared cancer free.

Angelina Jolie set an example when she went for ovaries and fallopian tubes removal at the age of 39 to reduce her cancer risk. She also underwent the double mastectomy to prove the world and inspire millions of ladies that no surgery can make her feel less women.

The actor underwent three surgeries to remove cancer from his nose and he is also expected to undergo more surgeries in the future to completely get rid of cancer. The X Man actor is realistic about his treatment and said that he was never told to put sunscreen being a child and that is the major reason why he is suffering from cancer today.

Kathy Bates who is also known as one of the best female actors of the industry is a two times cancer survivor. she has beaten cancer twice. once in the year 2003 she was detected with Ovarian cancer and then in 2012, she was detected with breast cancer.

Sharon Osbourne is also a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in the year 2002 and then she documented her cancer struggle at MTV reality show “The Osbournes”.
14. Jane Fonda
Jane Fonda is another breast cancer survivor. She shared on her blog “We got it early and it was, as I said, non-invasive. I want to thank my friends and fans who have written beautiful letters. It has meant a lot to me.” She later revealed that in Jan 2018 she removed a cancerous tumour from her lips as well.
15. Mark Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo who was once featured as the hottest man over 40 is also a cancer survivor. He was suffering from brain tumour which was removed in the year 2002.
