With the premiere of Big Boss season 12, the drama and controversies have already started like every year, creating a buzz all over social media. It may not come as a shocker with real-life couples being a part of the show as housemates, but there’s one couple that has caused quite the stir on the internet — Ghazal and Bhajan sensation Anup Jalota and his 29-year-old girlfriend Jasleen Matharu. Despite the obnoxious age gap of 37 years, they have been dating for three years now.
The singer dropped a bomb on the grand premiere of BB12 when he introduced his young, beautiful girlfriend on national television. The bizarre couple will be locked inside the house and is expected to add a lot of spice on the show. They confirmed their romance in an interview with ToI and revealed that they met when Jasleen started taking singing lessons from the legendary devotional singer.
She is no commoner, trained in both classical and western music since the age of 11, worked with singers like Mika Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, and Papon, trained in dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Hip-hop, Salsa and Belly dancing, brown belt in kickboxing and the list goes on. The hot lady made her debut as a singer in her father’s directional, Love Day Love Day.
“This is going to come as a huge shock to my parents and friends as no one is aware of my relationship with Anup Jalota ji. We have been dating each other for the last three and a half years. We usually don’t get time to spend with each other in the outside world due to our busy schedules, but now with the help of Bigg Boss, we will get to do so. Also, we will get to know if we can stay together forever,” Jasleen said in an interview. “Age gap has never bothered us and now once we go inside the house, we will get to know the real reaction of the people about our relationship. Until now, nobody knew anything,” she added, clearly showing that she is not bothered by the huge age gap.
When asked how the two will conduct themselves on Bigg Boss 12, Jasleen said, “I won’t hold back myself in showing proximity with Anup ji if I am feeling low. I don’t think there is anything wrong in hugging someone.”
